Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge presented the Railways Vote on Account for the first 4 months of the fiscal year 2014-15 in this election year amid heavy shouting in the parliament today. Due to heavy protest and shouting from Andhra Pradesh MPs he was forced to cut short the reading of his budget speech and he laid down the same in the Lok Sabha after reading first few paragraphs and the last para.
There is no increase in Fare structure as of now, and total of 71 trains has been introduced in this budget.
